Shane Stepien, President, established Step One Creative in 1996, after six years as an account executive, media planner, and copywriter, at Ed Vayner & Associates (EV&A), an advertising/marketing firm in Fulton, New York. While at EV&A, he worked with numerous clients in varied industries including: banking, tourism, retail, economic development, healthcare, food processing, leisure/travel, and others. A graduate of St. John Fisher College In Rochester, New York, with a B.A. in Communication/Journalism, Shane was also previously the Vice President/Marketing Manager at Pathfinder Bank, a 150-year-old, $400 million community savings bank, headquartered in Oswego, New York. While at Pathfinder Bank, he oversaw the bank's internal marketing department for nearly seven years, including development, coordination, and implementation of their marketing, advertising, and public relations initiatives. Shane is an active member of his hometown Oswego community, and serves often as a volunteer for area events, and on various civic group/non-profit boards.
